The photomeme.

A few weeks ago, I asked if anyone had requests of things that they wanted me to take a picture of. There were lots. So, here are the results, plus some extras. If any of these seem really weird... well, somebody asked for 'em.

The first thing I see when I wake up in the morning.

My room, before I clean it.

My room, before I clean it.

My favorite coffee mug, plus the berry tarte that my roommate made me.

My room, clean.
(These are a little old, but it's essentially exactly the same.)

My room, clean.

My room, clean.

My room, clean.

My room, clean.

Bookshelf 1, including favorite books.
The Picture of Dorian Gray-- Oscar Wilde
Waking the Moon-- Elizabeth Hand
Mortal Love-- Elizabeth Hand
Dune-- Frank Herbert
WitchCrafting-- Phyllis Curott

Bookshelf 2, craft books.
I don't have a lot of shelf space, so many books are stacked 2 deep.
Also, about 2/3rds of my books are packed away in the basement.

View from my bedroom window.

Me, first thing in the morning, sans makeup.
Freshly showered, exfoliated, and pink.
Not quite awake, wearing 'please inject caffeine' expression.

My purse.

The view as I wait for the train.

The Metro butterfly that I described a few entries beforehand.

The view from my desk at the office.
This was the highest window I was near at the time.

My favorite co-worker, Monica.

A path near my house, walking distance, that makes me happy.

The fishies, Sake & Wasabi.

Wasabi is a tailbiter, like Sushi before him.

My favorite piece of jewelry (plus the larger version of my new icon).

What is serving as my altar until the fall.

My makeup traincase. Not exactly organized.

The BPAL collection.

My hands and feet, all together.
Roddy, this was taken with my chin.
Happy?

My tattoo.

Saint Mary, Star of the Sea.
This is/was my favorite sight in my childhood neighborhood.
When I visited, it was night, and so the picture didn't turn out.
This is stock, but it will suffice.
This was the star I first wished on.
It's brought me luck.

Yancy, imitating Jesus in front of Saint Mary's sculpture garden.
Sacrelicious.

My father's house, now for sale.
That basement window was once mine.

The South Baltimore Little League Carnival.
Note The Zipper, which I forced Yancy to get on.
His words upon disembarking?
'I'm too old for this shit.'
:)

The view from the Ferris Wheel.

Isn't this what you're supposed to do on the Ferris Wheel?
Seriously, it was so hot out that night, and we walked miles.
We were so sweaty and gross.

Our feet.
Note me trying to keep my sandals on.

Extreme close-up.

Our garden's sunflower, seen at night.

The moonflower that bloomed on the night of the full moon.

Our morning glories.

Horsies!
There's a pasture within walking distance.

These two are mother and daughter, and very friendly.

The regular dance group.
Bridget, Skyler, Me, Sarah, Chris, Alex, Ariel, Lauren.

Woo. This morning, I braved the wilds of Reisterstown Road behind the wheel and did not die.
As a reward, I'm hanging out with Annabean tonight. Good times.
