Renaissance Festival Garb Post.
Help me decide.
Okay, so the basic garb I have is this:

Basic off-white chemise, russet Moresca bodice-- the Max, brick/dusty orange peasant skirt.

Close-up of the bodice.

A necklace I might wear with the outfit.
Okay-- the bodice is a size small. I tried it on again earlier this week, and saw that it's going to be really hard for me to get it laced. I mean, two women stuffed me into it last year when I bought it. There's about a 2" gap on either side. Maybe I should have gotten a medium, but the bottom line is that it's still wearable, and even the Moresca website shows their bodices with 2" gaps. However, I might want to minimize the appearance of those gaps with a colored chemise, because the gaps aren't my particular aesthetic. My immediate thought was an old gold color, but I don't want to risk looking too monochromatic, even if I am going for an Autumnal theme. What color chemise should I consider?
And two-- it's more historically accurate to wear two skirts, but I don't know if I'm all over the aesthetic. I did find this seller on eBay who makes double skirts very simply. If I were to get a double-skirt to go with that bodice, I think I'd get something like Old Gold over Brick or Old Wine. Still, I'm going for a super-slim waist, and I don't want it to be too bulky there. So... indecision. Suggestions?
And I'm going to get a belt upon which to hang a leather purse this year. That way I can keep necessities in the pouch rather than poking me in the bosom.
Help dress me!
(Oh, and if anyone needs a 4' cotton broadcloth skirt in hunter green, I have one of those, too, that I'd be willing to loan out.)
