2. I absolutely love living in a more spiritually-centered house. I can actually talk to my roommate about all sorts of Pagan-related things. I also get exposed to things I wouldn't ordinarily be-- she's interested in Shamanism and regularly attends a Lakota sweat lodge, and so there are little totems and ritual wolf pelts and shakers and strange herbs scattered all over the place.
But there is a line. That line is looking for some leftovers I stored in the freezer and instead finding random bird parts wrapped in cellophane. Aaaaaaah!
"Dixie, what the fuck is this?!" I yelped.
Apparently, she regularly keeps animal parts in the freezer during their curing phase so they don't get all buggy.
My response? "... just keep it away from my Mocha Java Chip, mmmkay?"
3. The Dirty Little Secret meme closes tonight at midnight. I probably won't get the chance to unscreen any new comments until tomorrow morning, though, as I'm busy all day today and will likely be too tired tonight. Just as a heads-up if you wanted to get anything last-minute in.
