Sleepy day

I got a nice package today-- belladonnastrap sent the half-bottles of Temple: Celtic and Temple: Greek that I ordered from her, as well as a freebie bottle of TAL's Arabian Nights. I could not possibly use an entire bottle of that blend, but if you're on my friendslist and one of the first four to request it, I'll decant you an imp for free.

Also, because she rocketh muchly, there were four other samples-- Storyville (in the Smut/Snake Oil family with a nice warmed cocoa note), Voodoo Queen (incensy with an herbal note), Blue Moon (my own personal BPAL holy grail), and TAL: Temple of the Loas. I don't like TAL oils to go to waste, so I'm going to have to do some major research before I use it. I've never done extensive work with any of the Loa, and with the exception of Yemaja and Osun, I'm not terribly familiar with them overall. I wouldn't want to affront.

And there was a Lush ballistic in there-- the new one, Golden Slumbers, which I consistently read as 'Golden Showers,' specifically because it's a pale yellow. It doesn't have the weird spray-painty looking gold shell, which is nice, and it does smell of lavender. Overall, it's nicer than I expected. Thank you, Miss Karyn. You are so generous!

As for me, I've wasted today entirely. I got up briefly at three to eat something, and promptly went back to sleep until 9:30. Generally, when your body decides it's naptime for about 15 hours, you've been bordering on exhaustion for awhile now, which I totally was. Mentally more than physically, but I'm better rested now. I think I'll stay awake until midnight or so, then get up early for a bath before Alex's party tomorrow.

And my boots came in! Yay for big stompy Docs!
