Friday Morning Numbered Post

Virgo:: It will be a rather animalistic week, Virgo-- or at least it should be. I suggest that you learn to feel more trust in your primal instincts; find out more about the part of you that doesn't use words. If you've got the luxury to experiment, see what it's like when you give your inner beast permission to express all of its creativity. The coming days will also be prime time to befriend lone wolves, horse around with wise old owls, welcome back lost sheep, play possum with jackasses, and flirt with sacred cows.

I swear, I'll return to well articulated, thoughtful posts sometime in the near future. Actually, I do have a lot to say, but they've been private entries as of late. You guys get the shallow stuff. Apologies.

1. I did not sleep well last night. I kept tossing and turning, and I had a dream that I got a huge tattoo of a clock on my back that I hated after it was on. I mean, the thought of a tattoo that covers my entire back is somewhat appealing to me, but I'm hesitant because I already have a lower back tattoo, and I'm afraid they wouldn't jive. Which reminds me, I really have to get on with designing my wrist tattoo. Hm.

2. I felt terrible all yesterday. I don't know exactly why. All I know is that I was working on my 100-word challenges and suddenly I was in tears and miserable. I don't get it. I'm better today, but I'm still kind of confused.

3. Those 100-word challenges will be posted tomorrow, by the way.

4. I found out that Tracie Thoms, who played Joanne in the movie version of Rent, attended my high school. It's not all that surprising, considering I went to a performing arts high school, but it is kinda neat. Incidentally, Jada Pinkett-Smith is another alum, and we share the same birthday. Tupac Shakur briefly attended, as well.

5. My CDs are burned for the atmospheric challenge. I've designed cover art for the online version, which you can print out if you receive a CD from me and like it better than the handwritten one I'm providing. Choices are good.

6. I hate not having a post office nearby. Really.

7. I need to go on a DVD-buying spree soon. I've want the Labyrinth fan edition, Rent, Walk The Line, Pride and Prejudice. I also need a new copy of Sleepy Hollow, since I've watched it so much that some parts of it don't even play anymore.

8. The news about South Dakota depresses and worries me more than I can adequately put into words.

9. Friday Night Swing tonight! It's the first Friday of the month, which means there will be a big band. Come if you're interested.
