I am bored. Therefore I spam.

Virgo:: In the coming week, don't eat in restaurants that serve food you hate, and don't try to operate heavy machinery while you're reading a book. Sleep on a nice, soft mattress, not on a piece of plywood covered with nails. Praise and listen to the people you care about, and resist any urge you might have to call them stupid and ugly. Spend money on experiences that make you feel good, not on absurd games that would exhaust you even if you won. It may sound like I'm telling you what you already know, Virgo, but I'm doing that because the astrological omens suggest you may be tempted to violate or override your own common sense in the coming week. I'm just giving you practice in remembering all the basics.

Common sense, as in buying Christmas gifts instead of BPAL? Hmm? Because there was an update this morning to the Black Phoenix Trading Post this morning. Aside from the Skeletal Librarian tee which will be mine after Christmas, check out the Naughty or Nice Tees. I plead my case for naughty, in the hopes of getting Snowblind, since the prototype is already legendary. Gotta say, though, that I'm going to have to hunt down some Fée, because I love every single note in that blend.



Fée -- A buoyant, dulcet blend of vanilla, sunflower, carnation, honeydew, peach blossom, lychee, oakmoss and white tea.

There is not a note here that I don't like. I'm really really happy that there's some peach blossom here-- Algaea is one of my favorite scents, and so there's a great chance I'll like this. I love lychee, too, and honeydew. Oakmoss and white tea should keep this from being too sweet while lending some sparkle. If I don't get this one, I will swap for a bottle, because this sounds like it will 'feel' like Titania, but be very distinctive and lovely.

Mitzvah -- A sweet reward for a worthy deed: caramelized sugar and sweet cream.

Maybe a little too sweet for me? Sugar Skull wasn't something I'd wear a lot, but the cream might round this a bit.

Snow Angel -- Cherubic spun sugar with a hint of lemon, sparkling peach, and floral tea.

Ooh. It sounds like a Christmassy Dorian. "Floral" scares me, but blended with tea, this could be pretty.

Lump of Coal -- Ok, fine. It isn't really a lump of coal, but brownies and coal are vaguely similar in color! -- and you know you could never be naughty enough for us to really toss a coal at you! After all, we specialize in sin at Black Phoenix. This is the truly sinful scent of a sticky, thick, dark and rich fudge brownie.

Chocolate scents make me sneeze. No thanks.

Snowblind -- The perfect vanilla mint.

Okay. This is legendary by now. I have to at least sample it. I would be thrilled if this was my pick.

Spanked --Sado-masochistic holiday cheer: whip leather, cardamom, patchouli and bourbon.

Bourbon is the only thing that might not work for me here. I'm a leather lover through and through, so I would be perfectly satisfied to get Spanked. Hee.
