And today, an employee came to work with a gun, threatening to shoot the office staff because someone owed him $275. This particular guy had previously been acquitted on three murder charges. There was a big to-do, and other guns were drawn out on the docks.


I think that it's kind of interesting how absolutely unfazed I am by this. Ordinarily, I would be pretty shaken up, but after the past month, I can't really muster any response. It's like I've got no emotion left. Fuck it, you know? When your ticket's up, it's up.
