Short little dress update.
So, the ring-a-ding dress didn't work out for me. I am sad. First of all, I ordered a size too large. The measurements I ordered on were from earlier in the year when I was measured for play costuming, and I seem to have shrunk a little since then (5 more pounds 'til goal weight!).
Even if I ordered it in a smaller size, I'm not convinced it'd be dancewear comfy, at least for swing dancing. It was a bit longer than anticipated, and I had the same problem with it as I have with many strappy dresses-- since my breasts are so large, they make my middle much larger looking than it is.
On the other hand, the dress looks LOVELY on Tina.

I had overlooked
danger_dame's Pulp Fiction Vixen dress, but I might exchange for it. It's a little black dress with 40's pulp flair, and it could work nicely on me provided I find the right bra and the top doesn't show too much boobie.
Some days, I am irrationally angry at my body shape. That is all.
