Lazy Sunday
For the first time in quite some time, I came home at a decent hour and then just slept like the dead. My mother woke me up at 11. Now I have that peculiar Sunday morning chocolate milk craving. I don't think we have any milk. Well...
I went to the South Baltimore Little League Carnival last night. Sky came along, and never before in my life have I ever seen someone so excited about the prospect of eating cotton candy. We did the flippy rides, the spinny rides, and the motion-sickness-causing rides. I actually popped out of the bar on the Zipper and thwacked my head when we went upside down. Still, it was a good time. I absolutely cannot believe, now, that I passed up funnel cake. I was wearing Midway, so at least I smelled like funnel cake, right?
We took a brief walk around Locust Point after that, but had to come home early because Sky's plane for California left at 10am this morning. He's probably on a plane hovering above the midwest at the moment. He'll be back next week, but I sent him off with a goodie back of his favorite non-melty candies, all packaged in an Optimus Prime bag. Yep. He's a geek. I think he was more thrilled with the bag than the tooth-rotting treats inside. :)
As for today, I have a birthday party to go to, and then hopefully, I'll be meeting up with Heather and Ashley, since they see each other all the frikkin' time, and because of my work schedule, I haven't seen them since graduation. Hopefully, there will be movies and fattening foods.
