Voices: Conversations with Joan of Arc
I woke up at 1:30. Ten minutes ago.
The last show is tonight, and Liz, Doug, Mike, Anna & Co. and Timmy, Noble, Rac and my Heatherbean have all come to see. The play's going well.
So well, in fact, that I am nearly briused from head to toe from getting fake-slapped and thrown around and stumbling over grids and getting yanked off of chairs by steel manacles and chains.
If my mother could see me, she'd have a heart attack. Plus, I'm pretty sure I'll have permanent indentations where my boobs were wrapped down to an A cup.
On one hand, I'm so glad I did the show. It was something new and challenging, and I rose to the occasion. Even well, I would venture to say. But I have had almost no time to do work, be an RA, or just chill out with friends. I've been neglectful. So maybe another play someday, but that will depend greatly on the commitment and my schedule.
On the plus side, my all purpose excuse it "It is GOD who commands it!" And how often do you get to claim that you saved France? Pics will be up on the site in a week or two. ;) MY pageboy wig is quite cute.
Have I mentioned how much I love my friends lately? Guys, I love you. I'm so lucky to have you. Mwah!
So: today: Paper, library run, saving France.
Then I will finally have time to read all the cool books I ordered from Amazon.Com!
