Mike and I had Matthew and Andrea overnight. We opted to go to the mall and see a movie.
Tonight, the part of Tom Ridge will be played by both William Hurt and M. Night Shyamalan. For real. The movie was completely about the Department of Homeland Security, IMHO.
I mean, it was easily predictable (I guessed the "twist" about 20 mins. in), but that didn't make it a terrible movie. It wasn't a *good* movie, but the cinematography was great, and so was the actress who played Ivy. However: it's one of those movies where it thinks it's much cleverer than it actually is, much to the dismay of the actual actors in it. And the creatures? Better rubber suit next time, please.
Also? William Hurt? Either find a new character to play or Never Act Again. I'm tired of the same role over and over. I thought the last straw was you assasinating the character of Duke Leto Atreides, but apparently, I was wrong. Plus? You're about as interesting as cardboard.
Ps- Memo to Brendon Gleeson: it's okay, I still love you.
I said I only had one thought. I lied.
Mmm. Good weekend, generally. I went home because Andrea's 15th birthday party was today, and my parents continue to be freakishly nice. Plus? Yankee Candle Patchouli. Yes.
Anyhow, I have to go to the pet store tomorrow. It's time to move Sasha up to stronger medicine, and now his poor little fin is all clamped and droopy looking. And Sushi won't quit biting himself. Poor sick boys. They're on two medicines as it is. I'm trying to be the best mommy that I can to them, and nothing seems to be helping.
