It appears that I have a tailbiter. When I left for work this morning, Sushi was absolutely fine. When I came back, he was nervously swimming in circles, and 1/4 of his back tail was gone. It appears he's nibbled it off-- his back fin is stringy and tattered.
I'm starting treatment with Melafix, stress coat, and aquarium salt to mellow him back to his usual self, but it's got me seriously freaked out. I've heard that some bettas do this, but Sushi had been fine for the month I've had him. Weird.
