Back from the Dave concert.
All is well in the land of Christina. I didn't get many songs on my wishlist, but I did hear "Crash Into Me" for the first time live and a completely transcendent version of "Lie In Our Graves." Boyd played a 10 minute ecstatic solo, followed by Butch Taylor bringing it full circle on keyboards. And they opened with "Grey Street." Lots of goodness. Not my favorite Dave experience, but lots of goodness. As log as I have Mike's arms around me when "Where Are You Going" starts, I'm generally happy.
1. Grey Street
2. When The World Ends
3. Crash Into Me
4. Hello Again*
5. Rhyme & Reason
6. The Stone
7. Sugar Will*
8. One Sweet World
9. Don't Drink the Water
10. Warehouse
11. Crazy-Easy*
12. I Did It
13. Where Are You Going
14. Joyride*
15. Lie In Our Graves
16. Too Much
Encore 1: What Would You Say
Encore 2: Pantala Naga Pampa/Rapunzel

When we had a bumpy start though-- Mike popped a tire in the pouring rain and had to change it. He got absolutely drenched, the poor boy. And the lawn seats were very aggrivating at first. But then the music started and all was well.
When we got back to campus, we walked around the baseball field and looked up at the stars. It was a perfect ending.
PS. Michael, I love you.
