So. I had this former real-life friend on campus. One who thinks she's married to Kurt Cobain. Yes, the dead guy. They met after he was dead, while she was in an institute. (Yes, she has been on LJDrama. Check "Kurt Cobain's Corpse Gone Wild!") Yes, she's seeing a counselor.
This friend's journal is about half-whining "why doesn't the world accept my marriage?" "why doesn't the world accept me?" "Why do people keep flaming me?"
Except for the very obvious wherein she creates the drama herself. She seeks out Christian or multi-faith groups, asks a thoughtful question, and when the Christians answer, she derides them for believing in a "sky nazi" or "an imaginary god-friend."
Hmmm. Imaginary Friends. Where have I heard of that before?
So. I engaged her in debate about the way she treats other people. The result?
"Kurt," who also has a livejournal that is friends-only (LOL Kurt Cobain's spirit blogs!), starts insulting me in another entry. I am apparently a cunty asswipe. Not to mention, "liberal bisexual pagans are a dime a dozen." Ohkay. Unlike, say, dead rock stars or fucked-up girls with imaginary friends.
Keep in mind that this has happened before-- I'll debate with her on something, and when she starts to lose, "Kurt" steps in with something along the lines of "stop hurting my baby. No one hurts my baby. She is the most smrtest, specialest baby EVAR. You're a cunty asshole bitca." And then she's all conciliatory with "Silly Kurt, always starting drama. I didn't say it, he did."
So, when it happened again, I wasn't terribly shocked. In her most recent entry, I asked to be taken off her friendslist because I can't deal with this drama. I don't give a flying fuck who Kurt really is (I swear the girl has split personalities), but now at least the poor girl won't have to switch journals just to hurl lame insults my way.

okay what makes you think I'm hiding behind anything. Idon't know how else to tell you that I am not the oen saying those things, you firhgt is with HIM not me alright.
This insult/backpeddling thing is a habit with her. See: "Slash is an insult to the creators, the gay community... you have no imagination! Um, that wasn't directed at anyone on my friendslist who writes slash." My response is at the bottom of the comments.
And we took ourselves off each others' lists.
People are so fucked up sometimes.
I kind of wish I had a troll journal just so I can see all the hair she's tossing over there right now. I swear.
