Light at the end of the tunnel...
So. I'm all sorts of poor this weekend, what with me having $20 and there being mother's day. I misjudged payday, which is actually Monday.
There is a bright side, though. I get $70 extra this pay, and I'm going on a mini-Amazon spree. I just looked at my wish list, and a bunch of the things on it have used items for ridiculously cheap prices. Monday, I'm going to order:
The Second Circle: Tools for the Advancing Pagan by Venecia Rauls. Used price: $6.50.
The Encyclopedia of Witches and Witchcraft by Rosemary Ellen Guiley. Used price: $3.50. I have another one of Guiley's books and it was very interesting.
Sati by Christopher Pike. Used price: $2.00! This used to be out of print and all sorts of expensive. EEEEE.
The Blind Mirror is also down around $8.00 hardcover, so maybe next month-- it's newish, so I haven't read it yet. And the Chain Letter books are a penny apiece. :) My geeky heart exults.
Two cds I want are also under $10 apiece... though I think that'll wait until I'm certain my computer is fixed. My dip sister called to say that Best Buy already called. Hells no. If they didn't replace anything, it isn't fixed. I'm frustrated to the point of tears about it.
And also, for $30 to cover materials, I've reserved a painting from a friend of mine-- Jessica Watson. I just love how she uses color-- so vibrant. She's doing a piece for me that reminds me so much of how I feel when I'm in my city. I can't wait to have it. I'll be sure to take and post pictures-- you just might want one of your own.
