Archery was... interesting today. I'm not really sure how I did, because we started out at 25 feet and gradually moved in. I missed three of six arrows my first time at 25 feet-- I could barely see the target in the dazzling sunlight, and I could only tell if the damn thing hit by listening for the impact sound. My scores rose steadily as we moved in-- by the eigth end, I had scored a 46 out of 54, including three bullseyes. The in-between was varied. Anything over 20 feet is sketchy at the moment because we've only shot over 20 feet twice.

Next time is "clout shooting," which, as nearly as I can tell means "shoot an arc in the air and pray you don't hit a jogger."

Um. I have a theory test to muddle through. I might take aleeve in anticipation.

Edit: Test taken. Aleeve helped muchly. It was difficult, but I think I made it through.

I did have one problem: the prof had a rehearsal, so he was not in to proctor the exam. I stared at one example for fifteen minutes-- I was able to form a highly theoretical chord: vii diminished of V in F major in third inversion... but the bottom note was a G natural. There is no Ab in F major. So. I had a diminished secondary seventh all dressed up with nowhere to go. Fifteen minutes passes. The teacher comes back. It was supposed to be G#. *headdesk*
