It was kind of an interesting weekend.

I had RA spring training, which is really nothing new for me-- I have two new RAs assigned to me to break in. One of which came to this school over seventeen years ago and drank his way out. He went to LA and worked on records for Macy Gray, The Fugees... you name it. He chatted up Angelina Jolie in a mall. And now he's back to McDaniel, working on a degree in sports law. It's a strange, strange tale. But anyway, I think we're accidentally stalking each other. Mike & I bumped into him last night at The Pour House cafe, and we talked about the business. I went to the Pour House again for an iced chai and lo- we ran into each other again. So. I might do some recording. It'd be interesting.

So. Mike, Rac, and I saw Kill Bill vol. 2 last night, and it was good. To be spoiler-free, it was somewhat less violent, and more talky. It was quite good, and I hope they release an extended version that knits both volumes back together. Also, jennyo? You're right- Elle is so Lilah. We came back on campus and I called Eve6 a bunch of drunken assholes. And then realized who they were. It was weird.

Mike and I hung out in bed this morning before he left and I went for another walk, then Heather and I went to Record & Tape, where I got Mediaeval Baebes' Undrentide and also a used copy of Tori Amos' Boys for Pele for three bucks. There were two Lisa Gerrard discs, but neither was the one I wanted.

Overall, I liked the night walk the best-- Mike and I walked down Main Street hand in hand, looking at the architecture, enjoying the perfect weather as night fell. It was lovely.

Also, I bumped into paganrose and her husband and adorable son at the coffee house, too. I hope you enjoyed your day at the lake!

PS-- If anyone has any of the movements of The Prayer Cycle by Jonathan Elias feat. Alanis Morisette, please send them via this site to sihaya09 at yahoo.com. Thanks, I'd appreciate it!
