Coworker's son reported a black kitten by the grocery store. Considering J is in DC overnight and I am car-less, there's not a whole lot I can do as far as trapping him and getting him to a shelter. Anybody local up for an adventure after 6pm?

I can't have any more cats at home (particularly ones that haven't been FeLV/FIV tested), but I worry about black kittens out of doors near Halloween.

I tracked a kitten back to its nest on the backside of a Boston Market in an old taxi car graveyard. Saw at least three kittens (the black one, a tabby, and a white with black spots) plus the momma cat. About 45 mins into everything, tamnonlinear trapped a big black adult. She's taking him/her home and then to the vet. We're trying again tomorrow for kittens or maybe the momma.

Not sure if this is going to be a trap-neuter-release situation for the adults or what-- tamnonlinear is the expert here. The kittens may be young enough to socialize, since they were sticking very close to their mom.
