Nine loves.

1. Jason. He's kind, nurturing, creative, and really fucking funny when he gets on a roll. He gets my weird humor. I never get sick of being around him. He's a pretty awesome guy.

Along those lines, my marriage. In any marriage, there are oblivious things your partner does that drive you bugnuts. I feel like that's par for the course. But at the end of the day, I think I made a right choice in marrying Jason. We talk instead of fight and call names. It really does feel like a working partnership. It feels secure. It's like a nice fuzzy blanket to wrap myself up in at night. It's good stuff.

2. My job. My job is awesome. It's also really really scary sometimes, not knowing if the bills will get paid for sure next month. But mostly the awesome outweighs the scary. I get to roll out of bed at 9, work in my PJs if I feel like, and make pretty things all day. Of course, there's always the more boring stuff... the copy to write, the pictures to take, etc etc. But this job is awesome and it's mine and I clawed it out of nothingness and held it tight. I love it.

3. My kitties. They are awesome companions to be around. I find it much harder to sweat the small stuff when I have a Bean licking my nose or a Nox giving me stinky kisses or a Mim presenting me her belly. I mean, they clearly want to be around me, so I can't be all bad, can I?

4. ATS. I love ATS. The magic of the dance coming together, no matter the configuration of dancers. The sisterhoods (and occasional brotherhoods) that spring from the dancing. If ATS were not in my life, I would be much poorer for it.

5. Chocolate. I don't think I can function without it, honestly. I don't eat a LOT of it on any given day, but I don't think I could stop cold turkey. I think that makes me technically an addict.

6. Autumn. We are inching closer. Already I'm drooling over fall clothes and planning trips to apple harvest festivals. EXCITED.

7. Buying from small businesses. It's unique, it's fun to shop online, and I am directly impacting the quality of the artisan's life.

8. TEA (and coffee). I need warm beverages to function. Even in summer.

9. The internet. Seriously, I am web-addicted. It's entertainment. It's news. It's networking. It's a grounds upon which I've made many lasting friendships. I need my dose of internet + coffee in the morning to survive.
