-- Saturday morning, I made pumpkin spice hotcakes. They were deeeeeeelicious. Shame we're still a couple of months away from Trader Joe's Pumpkin Butter.

-- After that, it was down to the Walters to meet madmoisellestar & see some art. Took lots of pics of ancient Greek & Egyptian jewelry. Saw lots of swords. Wished medievalmuse & parrish_relics were there so they could see the illuminated manuscript exhibit. Took many pictures that I cannot upload until I put photoshop on the temporary laptop.

-- Lunch at Donna's with Aster. Yummy chai. Herbed goat cheese artichoke hearts. Smoked turkey. Bruchetta. Good company.

-- Other than that, I mostly stayed indoors, as Baltimore is experiencing a ridonkulous heat wave. 102 temps + high humidity = even this anemic cranked up the AC.

-- Work work work. The Autumn faerie wings are very sparkly. I have a couple of odds and ends to do before I do photography, so-- update on Thursday or Friday. We're talking BIG UPDATE.

-- I got my witchy swap package from damejenn! It is lovely! A good book on Tarot, fae altar incense, a Hecate devotional candle, flash paper, charcoal, and yummy chocolates. Thank you, Jenn! It's perfect!

-- Am sending out MY witchy swap package tomorrow morning.

-- Does anyone have a forwarding address for youvebeenpixied? I got a little surprise from her in the mail this week and want to send a thank you but I don't know where to send it. Should I just give up and email?

-- Kitty update: Mim's getting big. Nox is already big. Olive has a vet appt tomorrow-- rabies booster shot and some probable x-rays. A friend was talking about how her dog is going in for hip dysplasia surgery, and a lightbulb went off in my head. I googled, and though hip dysplasia in cats is pretty rare, the symptoms were all "Does your cat walk with a strange, uncoordinated gait? Is she hesitant to jump? Does she bounce like a bunny rabbit instead of running?" BIN-GO. So we're going to have her checked. There are some painkillers she can be put on if it's determined she's hiding being in pain, and a potential surgery. But for right now, she seems pretty okay, especially since she rolled in catnip last night. I think she's the happiest she's been in awhile.

So, the update is going to be 70 items.

Wirework, PMC, resin, stringing, labradorite, autumn faerie wings, autumn leaves, and special Litha items because I found the prettiest goldstone EVER.

I just finished patina-ing the PMC items; my hands are all black and sooty, but I am very pleased. Overall, I have maybe an hour, hour and a half's worth of fabrication work left to do after I get back from the shop tomorrow, and then I'm in copywriting land. Photography Thursday morning, and an update Thursday night / Friday morning.

ALSO! shadesong is doing a blogathon again for the Boston Area Rape Crisis Center (BARCC), and I made my annual donation. Like a dummy, I forgot to take pictures before I sent it off (last week was BORKED), but it's a bluegreen Faerie wing pendant on a sterling chain, and a hidden message, "Free," at the clasp. The auction is here and more info on the blogathon is here. Go forth and bid! There are many awesome items to be had!
