Working working. It's going to be hard to find studio time this week, as I'm at the shop every day through Saturday this week. Both Bill & Yvette are out, so it's going to be super busy, and I am going to have to fight entropy when I get home. On the to do list for this week: more PMC, faerie wings for a wholesale order, and a couple of custom orders.

...I'm so predictable in my movie choices while I work.
( What's on the workbench?Collapse )
The studio decor is coming together. I picked up lovely white fairy lights this week. I still have to get bookends, a hanging lantern-- either paper or Moroccan-- and curtains. Finding the right curtains has been a massive pain. I am looking for the right shade of purple... slightly reddish/warm purple, but not verging on Barney territory. Maybe a little bit of a brocade, but not too sheer, and not too heavy. Its own color, but something that won't clash with the olives/russets/oranges I often have on the altar. Does such a thing exist? Because I surely have not found it yet.
I also just bought this for the studio-- a gliclee print by Papaya! artist, Anahata Katkin. BTW, if you are not reading the Papaya Blog & Anahata's blog, you are missing out on some serious pretty.

I plan on getting more... once I get a few more studio necessities. But I needed to splurge on some art. Here are other strong contenders:
