I spent part of my morning photographing labradorite! I've really been in to uniquely-colored / patterned labradorite of late. Here's what I'm currently working with, though I have morpho-blue, dark green, and spectral-haze patterned pieces making their way towards me from halfway across the world.

I embarked upon a new medium-- PMC. A moldable clay that, when fired, produces 99% fine silver. Expensive stuff, I tell you. So far just getting the basics for the medium has cost me about $400. And of course, my Hot Pot got damaged in transit, because 5 minutes into firing, it'd cracked in two. Undeterred, I went and bought a butane torch, which I need for soldering anyway. So double win.

I made a handful of pendants & earring components for starters. I've never worked in any clay medium whatsoever before, so I am pretty darn pleased with the results. What do you think?
