Later than expected due to getting out of Terra Firma late and then needing to decompress. But! It's up!

I have a couple of odds and ends, then it's Haagen Daaz + kitty snuggling time. My brain is completely kaput.

-- Yay, husband is coming home a day earlier than expected!

-- Boo, the pink is being retired for the year, effective tomorrow. My hair has faded to this crazy multicolor cotton candy look, which I like, but not with a 3/4" skunk stripe goin' on. Jason requested the hypersaturated red I was rockin' around the time of our civil ceremony, and though I tend to prefer lighter reds on me, I will be obliging him. Also? I desperately, desperately, desperately need a haircut. I have not had one in months. It's just about getting to a decent stylist. The one I want to see (who cuts marinatempest's fabulous hair) is in Ellicott City Hampden, but with no car, it's hard for me to get there during the week and this weekend is absolutely shot. Saturday, Verve is performing at the Hip'Notic hafla in Southern MD, and Sunday, Jason is getting his tattoo finished. Maybe I will call for next weekend? But ack, the hair horrors. My ends are fried, dried, and brittle and I am tempted to just hack them off myself.

-- Retail Therapy: once I'd hit my "bills paid" threshold for the month, I splurged a little on a Villainess update. They just released their summer LEs, and I LOVE TRAUMA OMG SO MUCH. The dragon's blood in it is THE BEST. I also picked up a Trauma perfume so I can keep some year 'round.

-- Lathers & Lights report: I am not enamored of the Soft & Shine shampoo. It does leave my hair soft (well, 'cept for the aforementioned fried ends, but there's nothing to do for that but cut them off), but does not lather well at all. I had better luck with the coordinating conditioner. I am strangely enamored of the Mystic Woods shower creme, even though the complex scent description basically boils down to "single note moss." It's not sweet, and it's clean and green and refreshingly in a lovely non-sticky way.

-- Tiger Beatdown takes on "The Menaissance." You guys, I laughed. 'Cause my guy friends really DO crazy shit like jumping off roofs (rooves?) just for the hell of it.

-- Continuing to like 'Bones.' Why did no one tell me Stephen Fry made an appearance?
