Virgo:: How skilled are you at getting things done and making things happen? This is different from just being busy; it's not the same as scrambling around attending to whatever tasks are at the forefront of your attention. I'm talking about actually cranking out excellent results that manifest a comprehensive vision of your intentions. I'm talking about working hard and smart to serve the big picture, not working frenetically and mechanically to rid yourself of nervous mental energy. You're in a phase when these themes are especially important, Virgo. Be a master of the details; don't let the details master you.

This is especially important for me to remember while I'm working on evolving my artistic voice. Largely, I've felt like a lot of my mixed media work so far has been somewhat experimental: getting the hang of new mediums. I have some things planned that are much more an expression of my own view, but I don't feel technically at the level to complete them satisfactorily just yet. The fact of the matter is that I have been very busy lately, and even reservedly happy with the results. But I'm still climbing that hill towards total satisfaction in my work, and I need to set aside more time for artistic development that isn't monetarily motivated. Because that's when I'm going to produce the work I'm the most proud of, I'm sure.


Not getting very good sleep last night (thanks, uterus!) is taking its toll on me. I need to cut out and go to bed. The update is going to start between 7:00 - 7:15 EST tomorrow evening (Wednesday night).
