-- J is gone 'til at least Friday night, doing a job in New York. I'm holding down the fort; no mean feat, considering the cats have been a real handful lately. Olive in particular has been exceptionally whiny and needy, in an in-your-face, you-can't-ignore-me kind of way. Nox has been scratching at the bedroom door for breakfast at 5:30. The kitties will be spending the night in the office after dinner until this habit breaks.

-- The toilet broke sometime yesterday. What perfect timing, particularly as I felt terrible all night long. I have to have maintenance fix it while I'm not home, and that always makes me a tad nervous.

-- I at least had a good date with the husband this weekend: long walk around South Baltimore, a pitcher of sangria, the bay breeze, a view of the harbor, Spanish tapas. Yum.

-- Been watching 'Bones,' because it's free on Netflix. I like it! I really like that Temperance isn't being rehabilitated into some kind of traditionally-likeable heroine, and that she likes who she is, even if other people are put off by her. I could really take or leave David Boreanaz: I have this thing where if they're a douchecanoe in real life, I have a hard time caring onscreen. But he's charming at the appropriate moments, and so I guess he can live. I need to marathon the SGU that zenmaster sent me, now that I have the TV to myself for a week.

-- Update by tomorrow night. Maaaaaybe tonight, but I doubt it, considering I have to go in to Terra Firma today. But in any case, shinies soon.
