You know, the pre-album promo of "Evelyn, Evelyn" really troubled me. Dressing up as someone disabled and then giving yourself a sexual abuse backstory, and pretending it's all true in the name of "art"? At the very least, tacky. And then your total non-pology? Ugh. Failtastic. And then. And then you went on, in a broadcast interview, to fucking make fun of the disabled lady who called you out.

And then she faux-raped a faux-Katy Perry onstage, with an assist from Margaret Cho. Now, Katy Perry makes my freaking skin crawl, but you know what? NOT OKAY. Not okay in any way, shape, or form. (ETA for the youtube proof.)

And now this: "ironic product placement is only ok if you take no money & beyond that give all the income to something ironic. like the Klan." (More on that here, but be forewarned, there are very, very triggering images there of the Klan and the people they killed.)

FUCK OFF, AMANDA PALMER. I will never, ever, support any kind of Amanda Palmer venture ever, ever, again. Hell, I actually feel kind of fucking dirty that I have any of your music at all. You are not edgy, not funny, not fucking acceptable at all.

Because I finally hit my "real life" limit today when the news started to report a TN man intentionally rammed an SUV with a child inside because the car had an Obama/Biden sticker. So, no more real life today. Reading the news lately has been horrible for my blood pressure.
