I just can't seem to wake up all the way. I have no energy whatsoever.
I've just been going at mach speed for weeks now, including the cleanup the days after the wedding, and I think my body is finally at the point where it's like "No. No more." While I'm no longer sick in the cold-sense, there is this lethargy and cloudiness that I just can't shake. Alas, I have a custom order to finish and about ten orders to pack up. Aside from that, I think I am going to sleep forever. Pile blankets on myself and not move. Relax and recharge so I can get back to normal and not stress myself into another sickness.
Kitty updates: Nox has discovered catnip. He is spazzing out seriously. I love this cat. So cuddly and sweet and an absolute riot when he's tweaking out. Mim got her booster shots yesterday. Olive's eyes are much less swollen this week-- Dr. Z says it looks like a herpes flareup that's just taking a very long time to clear itself, but overall, she's much better. If she's not completely cleared next week, he's going to start her on some anti-viral eyedrops, but she might not need those. Instead, she's getting a Lysine supplement and that seems to be helping immensely.
As for me, I am chilling out until rehearsal time with blankets and some of the pumpkin spice chai that
tamnonlinear gifted me with. I know J & I have to rearrange all the kitchen storage to account for our influx of culinary wedding presents, but I don't see that being in the cards. Maybe this weekend. Aside from a painting party at Anna's (is that still happening with Brad being sick?) we have decided that we're going to just stay in and veg. Sounds excellent to me.
