Ugh, man. I woke up feeling like roadkill. Headache and queasy. And exhausted but unable to go back to sleep. I am hoping a bagel and some carbonation can help this, 'cause otherwise, I'm all zombie-like.

Today, already, I followed my policy of not engaging with people who make deliberate effort to twist words. Well, it's either that or they view the entire world through their English-to-Asshole translator. It's always especially funny when they quote me directly, then presume I said something I actually didn't say and was entirely antithetical to my point. Oh, conservatives. You never fail for the LULZ. Granted, liberals can do this, too. I'm just entirely too used to dealing with conservatives who use the bait-and-switch as some sort of rhetorical exercise. Anyway, people should be lucky we don't actually live in the Harry Potter-verse, 'cause you could bet your ass I wouldn't feel bad using an Unforgivable Curse over the intarwebs in the case of the maliciously stupid.

But hey. Let's counteract that. Kittens! Specifically, Olive pinning and cleaning Nox.

...Jason has made me see all 6 Potter movies now. What I started out not enthused about (1-3) became much better from 4 on. 6 was pretty great. Still have not read the books. Might before the next movie, now that they're all out and the hysteria is a little calmer.

And with that, I am going to have studio time and watch last night's True Blood. Sookeh.

I am working on a gift at the moment, and I don't have the luxury of obtaining sizing information. Therefore, I ask my LJ braintrust, which includes many fabulous curvy ladies.

Where does a necklace comfortably fall on you if it's supposed to rest just below the collarbone? My guess would be 18"-- but I could be way off here. If you could let me know in comments (which are screened) it would be very helpful to me. Thank you!
