Oh my dear lord, the furchildren are being adorable today. They're starting to climb up in bed with J & me... they don't stay too long, but the trust is building. That's exciting. I am charging my camera now so I can take updated pics and show you just how big they've gotten in two weeks. Growing like weeds. And Squeaky's conjunctivitis has completely cleared up-- he's got these big, wide blueish green eyes and a perpetually inquisitive expression. Olive's eyes are... well, olive, and though she's the shyer of the two, she's starting to warm up and come up for pets and love, too.

So, hmmm... today, I am working on new ideas to grow the biz. Aside from purchasing a special candle for a prosperity working, I have been brainstorming ideas for a new line of magical necklaces that should be really neat if they work out. Which I am hoping they do. Putting them together is going to be a little sum of cash, so to keep the price for the initial test run reasonable, I'm looking for a small herb & oil supplier to partner up with. I've contacted one already and may contact another if that does not pan out. I am also talking with a small internet boutique that wants to carry some of my jewelry. I am plumbing every opportunity.

I am also wishing I had said money NOWISH. 'Cause look at this-- it's the prettiest mirror I have ever seen and this is coming from someone who really HATES mirrors.

Some of you may know the wonderful work of author Catherynne M. Valente / catvalente. If you don't, you need to go fix that. At any rate, the recession is hitting her & her honey quite hard, and as someone who pretty much survives on the income from a creative venture, DUDE, I can relate. Ergo I have donated a piece, "Windflowers," and y'all should go a) bid on it and then b) bid on some other stuff.


Also-- my "Faerie Court" bracelet is up for auction to benefit faithhopetricks, another of my flisters who got beat up by the recession. She and her husband, T, are working to make ends meet, but need a little more help to get through the coming few months.

Sorry the colors are so dark. I'm on J's lappy until the new power cord for my lappy arrives... the old one died last night and until then I can't even turn the sucka on.

Anyhow, there are lots more pics at the Flickr album. It was so hard to take pics. They're in that hyper phase where they move faster than the eye. About 75% of the snaps I took were just blurry kitten streaks.
