Creed, the band who brought you the timeless hit "Higher" and whose frontman thought he was Jesus or something, is re-forming and will be touring this fall.

First of all:

Secondly: let's all point and laugh.

I was too wiped to finish it last night, but I put a lot of my older stock of floral earrings on sale this morning. There are a lot of $12 earrings to be had, just in time for May Day. Earring subscriptions are also on sale. Merry early Beltane. :)

Virgo:: The coming weeks would be an excellent time to devote extra care and attention to your home-away-from-home -- you know, the place that's second-best at making you feel like you truly belong here on this earth. Enhance the ambiance in this alternate power spot, Virgo. Add beauty to the decor. Let the people who hang out there know how much they mean to you. And if you don't yet have such a sanctuary, then I suggest you hunt one down. You need to experience more of the pleasurable stimulation that comes from going back and forth between two different comfort zones.

I find this one timely, 'cause lately, I've been devoting a lot of energy to making our bedroom in ABQ extra comfy. Not necessarily for my own benefit (though it is nice), but mostly because Jason has been working 12-14 hours a day and he needs a place to soothe and rest him when he finally hits the pillow. Simple things, mostly, like making sure the bed is always made and the sheets are always fresh. Lighting candles. Keeping his favorite soaps in stock. Tidying up his bedside table and redirecting dirty clothes to the hamper. Occasionally -- gasp -- doing his laundry because he plain doesn't have the time to. Need to sweep, though. Our dust bunnies are begetting dust bunnies.

I need to pick up some lavender massage oil, and soon. We have BPAL's Terrae and a teeny sweet almond one that came with a Kama Sutra kit (kit verdict: better than expected but kinda overpriced), but nothing that says "I won't be offended if you fall asleep, 'cause I really think you need to" like lavender. BBW used to make a fantastic Blue Lavender Palmarosa one that's long been discontinued. I'm going to pop down to Seventh Goddess and get something suitable this week.

Funny aside: J's hands have been dry to the point of cracking a bit from always working outside in the zero humidity heat of ABQ. He'd been borrowing my coconut rose lotion, but declared it "too girly" so we stopped by the shop to get him something more to his taste to keep in his bag. I suggested manly and/or unisex scents... patchouli, sandalwood, maybe even some mild fruits. What did he pick? Cherry blossom. Heavy on the blossom. And for an oil? Blooming Peony. I scratched my head, I tell you.

I need to pick up more candles soon. This week is the bill paying week, so we'll see what's left over at the end. I am missing my favorite Voluspa candle dearly, but they ain't cheap.
