Tea and a stickybun later, my throat is de-puffing some. I had a hard time falling asleep last night, so I used my tried-and-true trick of turning on the tv, and it worked. Unfortunately, I woke up to the news and a story that a domestic chimpanzee had mauled some woman. How's that for a "what? am I still asleep?" sort of reaction.

Re: my last locked post-- thanks for the recommendation of Offbeat Bride. I went through a lot of it and was really excited to see a lot of people I already know already featured there! So I guess I'll have a lot of people to bounce my ideas off of. And, miracle of miracles, when I warned my mom of potential plans, she seemed pretty enthusiastic. I was surprised, but pleasantly so. Anyhow, I'm not gonna say much for right now while things are still up in the air and getting sorted out. I mean, we know it's gonna happen, but when and how are still being discussed, and part of it is a whatever-feels-right-at-the-time sort of thing.

Anyhow, I have a ton of work to do today. Commissions, and working on the first half of this month's update. I have a few more Pre-Raphaelite tricks up my sleeve. And I have a mountain of laundry as well. Time to get to it.

Things I want today:
-- Palimpsest. Still another week until it comes out, though.
-- A good, moisturizing true tea rose scented shampoo/conditioner. I really like Fantasy Bath's Wild Rose scent, so I might get some of that and scent my own. I just love having that scent in particular in my hair, and I am pickypicky about my rose scents.

I made really cool earrings today. They're versatile and give the wearer some room to play around and get creative, too. You can get a ton of looks with just one set. So, seven pairs just to test the concept, but they're so neat I need to make a set for myself.

Anyhow, the first half of the update will go live around March 1st so I have ample time to ship orders before I leave for ABQ.
