Howdy everybody. First of all, thanks for pimping the update. Even in this economy I'm managing to pay my bills, which is something. I know that word of mouth has a lot to do with that. So thanks.

Secondly: I am enjoying a quiet day. It is nice. I might take a nap later, as I did not sleep well at all last night (though I did dream that I won an Oscar for a screenplay). Factoid: I have always slept on my side for the most part-- with one arm under my pillow/head. Lately I've started having problems with my hips-- they ache so intensely in the night I toss and turn. This probably has something to do with the quality of mattresses I've been sleeping on, and when we get our place this summer, J and I have resolved to pick a really nice one. We'll solicit suggestions some other time.

Thirdly: Oh Laurie, Where Art Thou?-- the Balesplosion remix. NSFW unless you've got headphones on. People have too much time on their hands and sometimes the result is glorious.

Fourthly: This week's work includes: Tess Avelland benefit piece, plus a commission.

Fiftly: I have to catch up on my Free Will Astrology posts. Today's is okay, but I actually have a lot to say about last week's. I think it deserves its own post for sheer navelgazey effectiveness. I just haven't had the time.

Sixthly: New Lost tonight! Yay! It's one of two currently-airing shows I actually care about. I mean, I watch GG occasionally for the lulz, but I've pretty much given up on Supernatural.

Seventhly: I need more tea.
