I did a poor job of hydrating myself yesterday and I am paying for it today. Going in to DDI tomorrow instead of today-- today will be spent hydrating and staying warm because I feel lousy and would not like full on kidney problems by nightfall.
I will likely push the update back until Monday; upon reflection, it's a little too much for me to rush things for the sake of a Friday update when I have several half-finished pieces currently on the workbench. Plus I'll be able to use natural light if I do photography this weekend.
Kyah kitty seems to be warming up to me some; she's been rubbing my ankles in a way that surely means she wants food, but for her that's a fairly big step. We've come a long way since she hissed every time I came within ten feet.
Tank kitty is alternating being adorable and a total shithead. My new plan of attack is to keep him in my line of sight at all times so he doesn't eat any beads or otherwise get himself into trouble. Yesterday he ended up covering himself in very fine styrofoam which took forever to pull out of his fur (J and I are still baffled as to how), and he also divebombed J's feet when he came home, briefly escaping to the freezing wilds of the garage. Harebrained teenager.
Had BIZARRE dreams last night. Some were definitely dreams of the "listen up, I'm trying to tell you something" variety. And, um, I think the Goddess Ceres might have shown up. As did Jim Henson and the Abominable Snowman from Rudolph. I recounted it to Jason upon waking and he was very amused. I cannot tell you how oddly vividly I've dreamed lately.
Also, it's snowing again. Fine flakes, but very pretty.
Today: I am taking it easy, but will try to work in the afternoon. Right now, I'm only feeling stabbitydamn pains, and so I'm not pushing it. Water water water cranberry uva ursi warm blanket repeat.
