You probably won't hear from me until next weekend. Worry not, dear friends-- it's Spring Break, and I'm going to exciting Brooklyn Park, Maryland to help my mother plan a baby shower. The fun, it never ends. In cool news, I should have my computer when I come back. *crosses fingers* Unless Best Buy had to send my computer back to Compaq and hasn't gotten around to telling me yet, that is.

I've finished all of my midterms, which I think I did fairly well on. Music Theory was pretty challenging-- the non-chordal tones in the given example were much harder to ferret out than I had anticipated. I ended up with a bunch of random iii^6 chords, which is kind of unusual. My Francophone World test went pretty well, but you never really know with Motard-Noar. And I kicked ass on the Whitman/Dickinson exam. All kinds of ass.

I've got a special project to work on when I come back, and I'm already excited about it. Well, I also have a 15 page paper due the week I come back, too, but whatever gets me through the week, eh?

I got my RA placement for next year-- I'm back in Garden Apartments, my first choice, which I'm very excited about. I like my comfy, broke-ass little apartment. :) I'm not particularly pleased about the placement of other RAs, though. There's one girl that I'm not particularly fond of, but she will be a third-year returner and a senior, just like me. The RLC staff pretty much screwed her sideways-- instead of giving her one of her top choices, they stuck her somewhere she didn't want to be, giving the one of the brand new apartment slots to a new applicant. It's screwed up, I tell you. A lot of people got dicked over in regards to placement this year. But at least I like the guy who will be working with me in the apartments- Will's a great guy, very easy to get along with. He's the type of person who always has a big smile on his face. I think they chose him because of the high level of frat boys GA tends to have, and his status as a football player might help diffuse some situations among athletic residents. Still, he's very easygoing-- I wonder if he'll be assertive enough.

And over 4,000 individual ISPs have visited my journal since October. Crazy, man. I had something else to talk about, but I forgot what it is. So, with that, I go-- I have dinner with my staff tonight, and then health & safety inspections 'til 9ish. Then Mike and I are gonna see Hidalgo. For real, this time. :)

Catch y'all in a week. I'm going to go hang out with my Anna.
