There is nothing in the world that makes me feel more loved than when Jason reaches out his hand for mine. Or when he curls up behind me and wraps his arms around me and kisses my cheek. Or the way he looks at me and smiles like we're sharing our own special secret. He talks about our apartment and our future pets, what our honeymoon will be like, and that he can't wait to see what I'll look like when I'm a grandmother and that we'll make the grandkids uncomfortable by smooching all the time.

I keep expecting to wake up and find this a dream. I am so blessed.

So, I purchased the following dress for the holidays-- it' a classy shape without being too frilly-dressy. Considering my shape is an exact hourglass, I figure it'll flatter my waist while being a little more forgiving 'round the bum. I don't want something that's tight all over--if Kate Winslet can't do it, neither can I. I mean, she doesn't look bad, but she does look hippy, and as she is Kate Winslet and in ten times better shape than me, I'm not gonna chance it. So, an A-line cut it is.

I'm just not taken with the white belt, though. I was thinking maybe silver or red-- wide, maybe an obi style. Red belt with hook, red obi, silver obi. I'm a little nervous the obi style will add bulk, but I generally like the look and don't want anything patterned. I'm going for a sleek, classic look to be paired with satin heels and Cuban stockings.

So, thoughts? Help a girl accessorize. And pray I don't need a bra like this one-- it comes in my size and looks interesting in theory, but also like it could be the source of some unnecessary hide-then-peep.

In other news... shoes. One day I will own a pair of red heels, I swear. Oooh, red Ombre. Good girl sexy. Lick 'em hot. Just add whip.

Tristan and Isolde just came on and it reminded me...

Two nights ago I had a dream where I was a princess in a land where magic was real but only a small part of the population could see/use it. It was inborn, but not necessarily hereditary. There were two royal families who co-ruled-- one was evil (um, my family, minus me. Paging Dr. Freud), and one was good. Anyhow, I spent most of the time sabotaging my family's evil plans with my magic, which won me the love of the good Prince's heart. Who was this brave, dashing man?

Rufus Sewell.

You're jealous.

ETA: Oh lord, Tristan is such a whiny little bitch. Marke pwns him.

Everyone has things they blog about. Everyone has things they don't blog about. Challenge me out of my comfort zone by telling me something I don't blog about, but you'd like to hear about, and I'll write a post about it/just answer your question. Ask anything.
