Instead of discussing the multitude reasons why today is fired, I shall instead enumerate good things.

-- Great weekend. MDRF-- friends, Baebes, food. Great soup and a ghost walk in Gettysburg.
-- Again, Baebes. They remembered me from last year! And the new album is very different, but good. And Esther Dee is really cute.
-- Boyfriend, who is warm and snuggly and cuddles me just right. And makes breakfast in bed.
-- KITTIES.
-- Making plans for The Weekend Of Pain (my teeth come out on Friday). Friday night, J is snuggling me. Saturday, I get a visit from Heather and Aster. Sunday, I have post-birthday hangout time with Anna.
-- Shop sales were really strong this weekend, and I just got a glowing bit of feedback from a custom-order client.
-- Coworker petulantly banging his fists on a desk in prime five-year-old fashion is at least funny.
-- New camera! Awesome new camera. Sony Cybershot with great macro, white balance, 5x optical zoom, 8.1 megapixels, steady shot technology. Can't wait to test it on the jewelry during daytime hours.
-- Many pictures on said camera which will come off tonight for a major picture quote.
-- Rehearsal tonight with Flissy...
-- ...followed by pesto tomato soup with shaved smoked cheese for dinner.
-- EIGHT. :)
-- Colin. Freaking. Powell:

"Well, the correct answer is, he is not a Muslim, he's a Christian. He's always been a Christian," he said. "But the really right answer is, what if he is? Is there something wrong with being a Muslim in this country? The answer's no, that's not America. Is there something wrong with some seven-year-old Muslim-American kid believing that he or she could be president? Yet, I have heard senior members of my own party drop the suggestion, 'He's a Muslim and he might be associated terrorists.' This is not the way we should be doing it in America."

-- I got the Summer BPAL stuff in the mail! :) WHEE. Thank you, sweetie! I will have yours out tomorrow.
-- I got gorgeous earrings from nalathilion-- long dangly brass ones with pretty seagreen stones.
-- My roommate, who has been out of town, found something of mine in her mail pile. It was a birthday card from wanderkin. Thank you sweetheart!
-- I got a shipping notice on my winter coat.
-- I'm excitedly planning the next update after the current round of commissions is done.

For the most part, all packages have been mailed. I've gotten a couple of emails that things are going out a few days late, and as always, please give about 2 weeks for international packages to be received. If you are missing a package at the end of October, please ping me so I can investigate.

If you HAVE received your package, here is the place to squee!

Faeriecon pics taken with my old camera, and faire pics taken with the new. Please don't judge the camera just yet... I haven't quite figured out the settings and such just yet! I wasn't terribly diligent about taking pictures at either event; this year I decided to put the camera down and have more fun.
