Hola. Today, I am well-rested. The girls came over for ANTM as usual last night-- speaking of which, whoa was I not expecting that-- and left around 9:30. My plan was to wash another load of laundry, turn it over, then go to bed early. Yeah, I didn't even make it that far. I was out cold by 10pm. In my clothes. I woke up at 4am with all my lights still on.

Today, I've got costuming on the brain. I just finished ordering one costuming piece for me & Flissy, and I've been pondering bellydance-related costuming for RenFest this year. For one, I have to definitely re-do my black coin bra. I want one with comfortable criss-crossing straps, and better quality sewing. The thing is, I'm great at decorating the bra, but not the underconstruction itself. At this point, I think I might just order one of the braforms from Flying Skirts, unless one of my dance friends can recommend a tribal bra form they prefer?

Aside from that, I'm thinking of doing a brown & brass bra to make a second faire-ready ensemble-- something a little lighter and more casual than the full-skirted one I did last year. 'Cause summer weather is sticky. Anyway, I was thinking something similar to this for a bra style, but warmer-toned. The tricky thing might be finding a brown bra base.

Also, I'm poking the powers-that-be for pictures and video from my last All Seasons Hafla performance. *pokepoke*

Anywho. I'm thinking I might just put up the 20 finished jewelry pieces I have up for sale on Monday or so. It's not the full extent of my planned update, but my time has been short lately, and I am going to be busy-ish through mid-June at this point. I'm leaving time for commissions, though, so if you have a commission, please let me know.
