-- I paid off my Sacred Heart necklace from Parrish Relics, after totally forgetting after I sent the downpayment. For those of you who might remember, this is the stained glass pendant that will say "Open" inside the heart. Yay, I will finally own one of Jen's pieces!

-- Health insurance guy came by to pitch the new plan today. Decided to stick with my old HMO, as my health is occasionally like roulette, and even though my kidneys haven't landed me in the hospital in the last year, there's nothing to say they won't this year, and I'd rather have the bulk of the bill already taken out of my paycheck just in case.
-- More coming on that filtered post I made the other day as I process through more of my reactions and thoughts. In the meanwhile, it's been excellent reading other accounts of the event.
-- Good dance rehearsal last night. Note to self: show Flissy the correct Black Widow arms, chi-pot with the half turn. Thalia, Lyra, and I will be doing a short set at the All Seasons Hafla next weekend. I love our music selection. :) Also looking forward to a five-week "mini-mester" for level II starting this weekend: all shimmies all the time. Which is great, 'cause my 3/4 shimmy traveling is kind of looking like the zombie lurch.
-- Sneaker Pimps showed up on my iPod shuffle setting this morning. Good way to start the day.
-- Joanna's near-finished design for my tattoo is AWESOME. It is rather elaborate, though. I'm now looking at about three or four sittings for it to get done. But it will be SO worth it.
-- I realized that I haven't been to bed before 1 am for almost a month now. Therefore, I am declaring this Friday pajama night. Hot bath, steamy book, tea, possibly breakfast for dinner in the form of those awesome little dairy-free blintzes.
-- I'd like to take a moment to say I've had a lot of really welcoming, positive energy tossed my way lately and it's really kept me afloat. I'm really grateful for it.
