And it's only January. But we've had bizarre 75 degree weather for the past two days, and I can smell the earth warming up. And suddenly, I'm craving fresh flowers and sunshine. I've splashed on a bit of BPAL's Rose Red '05 because it's fresh like a newly-cut bud, bursting with green. And this of course means that I'm compiling a massive to-buy list of floral beads in pastel colors. Help me, please. And Valentine's day stuff. I'm looking at things in pretty red and pink shades. Chalcedony, rhodolite garnets, pink tourmaline, pink amethyst, rose quartz. And lots of aluminum roses. I had an idea, and I want to see if it will work. I think the hardest thing for me, design-wise, is waiting to buy components. Money, and all that. The good news is that my neckform should arrive on Monday, which means that I should be able to start photographing and processing pictures then. If all goes well, there should be a big Etsy update next Friday.

In an effort to organize my ideas and inspirations, I bought this journal at Barnes and Noble last weekend, and it is just so freakin' cute. So of course, I'm salivating over lots of pretty stationery now, too. I love almost everything Modern Printed Matter does. Other faves: Turtle Papers, Earmark Invitations, A Punkin Card Company, Junkmail Greetings, Mew Paper Arts, Letterary Press, Crankbunny, Pink Lily Press, Just Another Day, Max and Bella, InVita, Mielle Designs, and about a trillion other companies. What can I say, I'm obsessive.

And ahahaha, Fat Ninja Valentines and Zombie Plague Valentines.

Now to count down the remaining 15 mins until I can leave. Today has been unbearably boring.

Yum.
Butter + strawberry jam + cinnamon crumpet = best dinner idea ever. I love being an adult.

Also, happy birthday to our lord and savior, David Bowie. Amen.
