Last night, I got the most heavenly massage from Bridget. Believe me when I say that my friends are gifted with the massage-fu. No one un-knots stressed-out shoulder muscles like Abby (no one!), no one gives better hand massages than Julian, and no one gives better therapeutic massages than Bridget. I lay on her table for almost two hours last night while she practiced deep tissue massage, which involved a lot of deep pressure and creating cavities in normally cavity-free parts of my body. She reached under my ribcage and under my hipbones and pulled-- it felt so, so strange, but not entirely unpleasant. Aside from the more bizarre deep tissue bits, I basically was able to meditate the entire time I was on the table, which was unbelievably relaxing and restorative. Oh, and the face massage. Often neglected, I know I hold a decent amount of tension in my face. Having the muscles smoothed out put me totally at ease. I also now have a bottle of Black Phoenix's 'Terrae' massage oil, which so far I've only tried out once, but the results were exceedingly positive. I look forward to having some tried on me in the very near future, as well.

Other random notes:

-- I am addicted to the Trader Joe's faux Oreos with the peppermint cream. Yummy.
-- Random Hearts was so terrible we gave up and started MS3TKing it about twenty minutes in.
-- Please, please tell me why I'm dreaming about Phantom of the Opera as sung by the cast of Pirates of the Caribbean. Why did I wake up just after Elizabeth Swann finished singing 'Music of the Night'?!
-- Troupe practice, then Saiidi class tonight. I am already dead tired. So if I'm not around much tonight, I'm probably passed out facedown on my bed, fully clothed.
-- I bought my tickets to NYC this weekend. Woot!
