I want to be in bed. Snuggled up, under a warm blanket, drinking tea with a book in my silly pajamas. It's gray, it's rainy, it's cold, and I simply want to be a lazy lump.

Which is not to say that I didn't have a great weekend, of course. I had a great time on Friday night with Shaun and Jenny going to the movies and then out for drinks. Ditto on the good time Saturday night with hilandercs and kittykatkca, wherein Kayce kicked both Craig's and my ass quite soundly at pool despite being way drunker than either of us. ("Craig, you should, like, have a horse!"). My story is that her boobs probably had something to do with it, and that's what I'm sticking with. Seriously, they're lovely people and I hope we get the chance to hang out again soon. By Sunday, I was just exhausted from keeping up with my social schedule and getting something like four hours of sleep a night, and so I begged out of afternoon stuff to stay in my pajamas until I headed to Toya's with Brooke to watch bellydance DVDs with Flissy and the Kallisti girls (and eat a truly ridiculous amount of junk food). And then I came home and totally collapsed.

As for tonight: I want to say that I'm going to be good and responsible and drill my hipwork and maybe figure out what to do during my short drum solo. And I'm sure I'll attempt it for about fifteen minutes before I give up and go make myself grilled cheese and tomato soup. It's just that kinda day, you know? Also, after recent discussions, I totally want to pick up another Laurel K. Hamilton book just to underline the horrible writing and giggle at the bad erotica. I need naptime for the soul, please send backup cuddles. :)

Hair conundrum. It's been a little over a month since my last hair dye; just long enough for my roots to be fairly noticible. It's not terrible, but my natural haircolor, having not seen sunlight in years, is a few shades darker than the golden blonde dye I used. And truth be told, I've really liked being blondish this time around, much to my own surprise. It's not Hollywood bleach blonde. It's warm and burnished and very pretty. That said, I think red will look better for the holidays-- a nice midtone ruby shade, like Spicy Ginger. Still, I probably won't dye it until a few days before my next dance performance, which means about three more weeks of roots. And... gnagh. The roots, being just a few shades darker, always manage to make my hair look greasy, no matter how recently I've washed it. Conundrum. Maybe after I get a haircut, I can get away with just touching up the roots.

Now, to figure out how to do a pretty, sophisticated updo. Maybe with pretty hairsticks. I lack hair-fu and forsee much cursing in my future.

In other news, Sarah Michelle Gellar is hot and Maryland pw0ned Fred Phelps. Woot.

So, my best friend had two email accounts (Yahoo and Gmail) and her LJ hacked earlier today, and all of her passwords were changed. Being rather out-of-date on hacking these days, I have questions about who/what could have done this. She said that after some time, she was able to get into her Yahoo account, and she found verification emails where whomever/whatever had compromised her accounts had changed the passwords by requesting password changes. This would lead me to believe it's probably not a bot of some sort, but what do I know? I personally would rather it be a bot, because past badness-induced paranoia about creepy exes with computer know-how cracking into stuff gives me the willies, and I wouldn't put it past certain people, you know?

So, questions:

-- Given what she's said, does this sound automated (ie, bot, virus, malware) or personal (person with intent)?
-- If it is a person, how can she track down where this originated from?
-- How can she keep from this happening again?
