O hai thar, LJ! UR faithfull narrirator iz ded of teh sleepiniss.
So dead, in fact, that I seem to be writing in LOLspeak. So dead that I'm having my first morning cup of coffee in six weeks.
On the plus side, I had a fabulous time dancing last night, and even got to dance twice with Ben the surprise aerial guy. Whee! I have to say one thing for the guys at the Avalon-- I haven't yet been afraid that someone was going to drop me on my ass during a fast and low dip. This is a new sensation for me-- they men I've danced with have good balance and upper body control, much better than any dancing I've done to date. Exciting!
Then I got home, took a nice hot shower, did some work, and chatted until way past my bedtime. Hee. This morning, getting up was not easy, though. The weather here has been gray and drizzly, and while I like it, it makes it hard to push back warm covers when it's time to get up.
Work has been terribly hectic this week, but I've been doing a lot of interesting work, frustration aside. My frustration stems from me being someone who likes to work a project or task start to finish, pacing myself with few interruptions. This week, everyone here has been juggling multiple projects simultaneously because we're terribly busy right now-- so I'm feeling pulled in lots of directions, which makes it harder for me to focus. I can't set up a list by priority then knock it out, like I usually do. So I have to adapt.
On the plus side, it's Friday. I get to go haunted forest-ing with Abby, James, and my Annabean. I get to sleep in tomorrow, then eat breakfast and read in a bubblebath. I get to catch up on my weekly dose of pretty boys and laze around in my hideous yet comfortable red bathrobe until it's time to head to Fell's Point to meet Carl and Lee. Then we're going to drink and have fun and probably make a drunken batch of orgasmic cookies and otherwise debauch ourselves silly. Undecided about Tribal Cafe on Sunday-- I'm trying to leave Sunday as open for hijinks as possible. Overall, a very promising weekend, and it starts in seven hours!
Also, I have a post of ultimate silliness to put together tomorrow. I have been storing up the ridiculous linkage, just you wait. There will be dancing condoms and horrific Bollywood and a very special Douchebag song to dedicate to the special d-bag in your life. In the meantime, have some good news: Holiday Inn Pwns Neo-Nazis. Also? Pregnant Milla Jovovitch is soooo cute.
