Still no power at my house. This has moved beyond ridiculous. The fishies were moved to Sky's last night, which is where I spent the night, because let's face it, I needed a shower. I also need a razor, but that's something else entirely. It's been kind of an au naturale week. Pleased to report that the fishies are doing better-- Nigiri's usually very pale opalescent white, but by yesterday afternoon, she was stressed to the point of being dark pink. Not good at all. I got her set up in a temporary container at Sky's, and after a few hours of being left in a warm room in the dark, she went back to her normal color. That's good.

Also, the internet at work has been mostly offline all week. The phone never stops frakking ringing, and always rings when I'm trying to grab a quick bite to eat and therefore have a mouth full of food. Charming. Big proposals are due, and it's a lot of little things all the time. My pet peeve of being asked simple questions more than once and constantly second-guessed (you said this, but I did that anyway, 'cause I thought it's what you really meant) is driving me up the wall. And, as a fun change of pace, tomorrow, I have jury duty. Considering the no-power thing has made me cranky to begin with, you might be able to ascertain that I'm not exactly shitting unicorns and lollipops mood at present. This is not my best week ever.

Tonight, I'm going to attempt to take pictures of new for-sale jewelry and post them using Sky's computer. His router hates my laptop, which means it doesn't work at his house. Another charming technological complication. Isn't technology supposed to make our lives easier? Is Mercury in retrograde and nobody noticed it?

On the plus, I got paid for two more pairs of earrings sold, and the buyer's pleased as punch. I was working on my beads last night at family night, and everybody was oohing over the shinies. LOST and the Skinny Bitch Show (ANTM) are on tonight, and even if I won't be home to watch them, I might be able to borrow a TV. I am so ready for this week to be over. I desperately want to go home to a warm house, clean my room which has become a bastion of pit-stop clutter, and watch cheesy 80's flicks in my PJs. I had intended to take this week easy so I'd be back to my usual socializing self, but the fact that everything electricity-related seems to hate me this week is not making that easy. I hate that I've been essentially burnt out and cranky for much of the month so far, but none of my attempts to relax and take it easy seem to be going as planned.

Apologies in advance for the crappy picture quality. I need a new digicam before I open up an Etsy shop. If colors differentiate from what's shown significantly, I will describe them. Most shiny objects just don't translate well with my crappy camera, and boo to that.
