I am being decadent this morning. Baklava for breakfast. Ordinarily, I'm not one to really like a lot of honey-- too sticky, too sweet-- but honey and nuts and spices? *makes incoherent noises of ecstasy* Yep.

Last night, Agnes and I speed-cooked gorgonzola-walnut tortellini in pesto sauce, paired with a baby greens salad in a lemon-gorgonzola vinagrette. I have to say that it was probably the most satisfying meal I've had in a long time. We both went back for seconds. And I have to admit that there's a certain guilty pleasure in stuffing ourselves silly while watching ANTM-- a show about skinny bitches. Heh. It appeals to my less intellectual nature, and it should be said that this year, I'm totally Team Jaslene. I would be Team Jael, as there's something about her that I find appealing, but then she tries to speak and ends up sounding a lot like someone who's spent the last seven years of her life in a total ganja haze. Still, she's kinda laid back and at ease with who she is, which is nice even if she does occasionally remind me of a retarded kitten. At any rate, if you're not already reading the FourFour recaps of this stylish trainwreck, you totally should be.

We then had a mini-hairdye party-- she got a little depth and some gloss, and I perked up my fading color. My hair is now Satine-in-Moulin-Rouge red. I like it. This caused me to miss the first 20 minutes of Lost, so when I tuned in, I was like " spoilerCollapse )," and as a side note, spoilerCollapse )! Also, I'm happy that the writers remembered that Sayid and Locke still exist.

Bellydance is tonight-- I'm in a surprisingly good mood this morning, and I can only hope it holds up throughout a full class of shimmy-shaking. As long as Jessica chucks out her fusion-version of Ave Maria in favor of something with a lot more percussion, I think I should be fine.
