I had a good mailday yesterday. The first package was from the lovely _siddal_: decants of BPAL's Silence and Kindly Moon, as well as Hymn to Proserpine. Today's scent is:

Kindly Moon: Utterly ethereal, an exquisite expression of love: moonflower, lotus root, white gardenia, beeswax, peach blossom, blue musk, stargazer lily, golden osmanthus, ti, sandalwood, hyacinth, ylang ylang, and a touch of vanilla bean.

It's a pretty honeyed white floral. I definitely smell the gardenia and beeswax. It may be just a touch too floral to be in my top scents, but it is very nice-- it has a floaty feeling that is very calming and feminine. Graceful and composed.

Whew, my mom just called to remind me that it's my father's birthday. I love how she hasn't dated him in 23 years, and still remembers, when I don't. Hmm.

Anyway, I'll be glad to leave work soon. The flourescent lights are really straining my eyes today, and I'm having terrible lightheadedness as a cause. It'll be good to go home, clean myself up, and relax my eyes for a few minutes before heading back out. Right now, I can barely focus.
