I had a blast this weekend.

On Saturday, I went to a party chez reedrover & achaosofkittens with tamnonlinear. I sat in a hot tub under the moon, I had fabulous nibbles, and made new friends. The next morning, there was good conversation, pancakes and, as a bonus, goats!

Sunday, I drove Abby's car all the way back from Virginia, which is the longest continuous drive I've completed thus far. Go team me and the getting over the whole fear of driving thing. After a nap and a shower, it was off to Annapolis, where I rang in the new year with evergleam83, roxyoi301 (plus her adorable beau, John), _titania_, and sweettoothjonny at the Ram's Head Tavern. I had fantastic steamed shrimp, because steamed shrimp are a New Years' tradition in my family, and any year begun without steamed shrimp is bound to be craptastic. Example: 2006. At any rate, there are a ton of hysterical pictures on Ash's camera card, which I will resize and post just as soon as she sends them my way. Let's just say I think that Heather likes Hall & Oates just a little too much. It was a good time, and it felt good to have good times with old friends again.

It's nearing 10pm, and I think I'm going to turn in a little early. All this excitement has me a little overstimulated and under-slept.
