Saw Casino Royale. Must preface by saying that I don't like Bond flicks, nor do I typically like Daniel Craig, who I think mostly looks like an angry leprechaun. That said? That was one damn fine action movie. Really, it was interesting to watch-- decent plot, decent character development, decent eye candy, etc. I liked that Bond wasn't some namby pamby playboy with shiny gadgets and too much gel in his hair. Craig's bond is a lot more film noir, a lot more feral. They emphasized how much he wasn't at all like the Bond we know, and it worked pretty flawlessly. One tiny spoiler.Collapse )

Also, since my weekend was more or less a complete sausage-fest, I saw Orgazmo, which was... well, the less said about it, the better, actually. I'm still singing the theme song, though, because it's infectious and hysterical and just gets stuck in your hindbrain.

And, in other news-- Deckabitch strikes again! I was coming out of the ladies' room, and one of my bosses was coming out of the conference room right across the hall. He decided it would be funny to shout, "boo." I was already in Deckabitch stance with my fist up and elbow cocked before I even registered who he was. Luckily, I didn't actually swing. But still, he's decided that startling me isn't really the best of ideas. I have, erm, strong reflexes.

Finally, in reading my friendslist this morning, I have decided that anyone who calls someone else "sugar" in a condescending manner should be bitchslapped a lot. Seriously, it's so wrong, you smug assholes.

Now-- woot for the beginning of a three-day work week!

I think I've chosen my Montana backstory location. I needed somewhere small, but big enough to have a high school and be within an hour's drive of a psychiatric hospital. I needed woods, preferably near mountains. And rather poor-ish.

I think I'm going to go with Hamilton, Montana.

If any of you live / have lived / have traveled extensively in Montana, I'm interested in input.
