1. The pretty guy was working at Caribou again this morning. I know this because Starbucks' filtration system was still down. Gosh, it was such a trial to have to go to Caribou. He seems pretty shy, though. But man, those eyes. They're this light shade of hazely-green. Just gorgeous.

2. I maintain that retail therapy is the best therapy. Long live H&M. I bought two really cute outfits yesterday, one of which I'm wearing right now. The first outfit is a rasperry-red tank top and an ankle-length, boho-style cotton skirt. The skirt is natural tan with raspberry-red flowers and harvest-yellow leaves. That's right, I actually bought something printed, and it's a print I can wear straight through fall. Put a thick brown belt on top, and it actually looks kind of chic. Check me out, all in the moment and whatnot. I'm usually at least two seasons behind, or in monochromatic black. I also got a long chocolate-brown linen skirt and a few more tank tops. It's just too hot to wear pants in this weather.

3. I also went into Yankee and resisted buying the whole store. This is a feat for me, because they had about eight new lines of new Fall candle accesories out. Amber mosaic glass and etched leaves. It was all positively gorgeous, and I'm not ruling out getting a few pieces in the future. However, this tart burner is an absolute must. It was definitely cuter in-person, and will look lovely next to my fall altar. I'll probably get some glass leaf tealight holders, too. They match the Autumn leaf pillar holders I got at a craft store earlier this week. Of the fall candles, I still have bunches and bunches of tarts from last year, so I only got a few of the newer scents-- Autumn Leaves, Cinnamon Vanilla, and Sage & Cinnamon.

4. Is it Autumn yet?

5. I got a new fishie. I may have erroneously named him Wasabi. You see, at the store, he was green. Then I got him home, fixed him up with some Stress Coat and aquarium salt, and bada-bing, he turned blue. Blue with a little red in his tail, actually. That's happened to me once before, though. My now-gone plakat, Scout, was brown when I bought him, but turned green at home. Regardless, Sake is very pleased to have someone with whom to have "I'm the prettiest" contests again. Wasabi is very happy to not be at Petsmart, where they house female bettas individually with no filtration. I am very happy that I made it out of there without yelling at one of the innocent employees. It's all good.

6. Short list today. I may add to it, but right now, I'm drawing a blank.
