28 pages. My senior paper is done. I even got four hours of sleep. Now I only have to worry about a formal presentation, a 4-page critique of a classmate's paper, and a 4' x 4' poster, both due in the coming week.
Coded Metaphors:
Supernatural Allegory and the Female Experience in Young Adult Texts
Ack. My head a-splode. If I never see the words "subjugation," "adolescence," or "allegory" ever again, I just might be the happiest girl ever.
Something tells me that later, a nap is in order. For now, there shall be coffee.
ETA: The paper I am to critique is "A Bodily Grave for a New Birth": Bahktinian Theory and the Carnivalesque Journey in Henry Fieldings's Joseph Andrews. Ahh, Chava Roth never fails to make me feel like an intellectual toddler. :)
