Caution: whinging ahead.

I didn't sleep very well. I tossed and turned and actually had a nightmare about not being able to register for classes. Anywhoo, McDaniel's doing this new online registration thing. Simple, right? No. I got up at 8:00 so I could be at the lab when it opened at 8:30 to register for my slot, only to find that the journalism class needs my advisor's signature. So I ran to Hill to get it. Then I went to register. Bursar's hold. I ran to the Bursar's office-- they'd forgotten to remove it. So I sat down at the registrar station. Dr. Mary forgot to sign me into senior sem. I had to get that cleared up. And so finally, I got all of my classes and clicked "submit"... I got a broken pipe error message. Broken pipe. What does that mean? So finally, I went to the registrar's office, handed them my schedule and told them to just do it by hand, like always. Grrgh.

I then ran to the bank to deposit $10. I came back for class, had trouble finding one of the articles, and then bumped into someone in my French class. The teacher had been wondering where I was on Friday because wasn't I supposed to present? Um. First of all, I'd told the teacher on Wednesday why I would not be in class on Friday. Second of all, my presentation is TODAY, as written on both the class presentation schedule AND the syllabus.

So here I go, whipping my presentation into shape in oh, two hours. Wish me luck. Or death. Either will work, really.

ETA:: The customer service at Sunburst Bottle is very good, and they're holding my order until Thursday. Whew.
